Greeting from the Professor

To create a new based on the“complex system” pharmacology

The environment around the medical education and care is about to change in the 21st century. The possibilities of the tailored medicines, which refer to the reaction of each patient’s background, need, condition, and treatment, are coming in the near future.
Our department will lead the future pharmacological studies by contributing the establishment of the system, which can evaluate “Pharmacokinetics,” “Drug Interactions,” and “Drug Safety” based on each patient and his/her condition of the disease. We also need to cooperate with clinical and basic science in Japan and industries in foreign countries.
On the aspect of researches, we are going to seek into the way of understanding the complex life phenomena (not to divide and simplify the phenomena), while maintaining the dynamic relationships of the life phenomena complex. Especially, we want to focus on the dynamic self-organization and advocate the new pharmacology from the point of view.
All of us will devote ourselves to the society in order to provide a better life to other　people in the 21st century through our educations and researches of the pharmacology. Thank you.
